What is LEAP?
The mission of the LEAP Committee is to facilitate and direct activities within the school, and to harvest parent talents for the many volunteer opportunities at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic School. The committee is self-sustaining, and every parent is invited to be involved.The committee provides communication between parents, staff and administration to coordinate and plan events and determine where volunteer help is most needed. The committee works to enhance the school environment in keeping with the guidance of the pastor and principal and in keeping with the mission and philosophy of the school.
Some of the events LEAP coordinates or assists with are:
New Family Night
Father Daughter Event
Mother Son Event
Family Service Outings
Because of the fundraising events LEAP coordinates, the committee is able to assist the school with fees for field trip bus transportation, classroom supplies, 5th grade ELC trip, and many more events throughout the school year!
