In honor of dedication for years of service within our parish community, Mary Queen of Peace was proud to award the 2020 MQP Legacy Award to:
Jeff & Barb Nadeau
Jeff and Barb have been parishioners at Mary Queen of Peace for over 45 years.
The Nadeaus were instrumental in the design and construction of the beautiful new Mary Queen of Peace Parish Life Center. They worked tirelessly on the project, giving many hours of their time to make the long-awaited dream a reality. With many hiccups and set-backs along the way, the Nadeaus were always positive and charged forward. The Parish Life Center is an amazing place that will serve our parish for many years to come. The success of the project was in large part due to the selfless commitment of the Nadeaus.
Jeff and Barb Nadeau were to be recognized with the presentation of the Legacy Award at the MQP St. Patrick’s Day Gala, which will be held in the Parish Life Center on March 14, 2020. Due to the current situation in 2020 (COVID-19 pandemic) the 2020 Gala was canceled. Jeff and Barb Nadeau will be honored and presented with their award at a future event.
The Mary Queen of Peace Legacy Award is given annually to a person or persons who have made a lasting impression on Mary Queen of Peace Catholic School and the entire Mary Queen of Peace Parish Community. The individuals honored with this award will have been or are active members of our faith community who have supported parish programs and Catholic education. Individuals will be honored for their dedication to excellence in faith, academics, and service.
