Enrollment Priority Schedule
At Mary Queen of Peace we both value our returning families and welcome new families! Our enrollment acceptance priorities are listed below:

Immediately: Returning Students are accepted

January 4: MQP begins accepting new students from MQP Parish.

January 19: Enrollment opens to surrounding parish families.

February 3: Open enrollment for all families begins.
Tuition Assistance & Scholarships Available
Mary Queen of Peace is committed to working with families to afford the cost of a Catholic education. Tuition assistance for elementary grades is available on the basis of demonstrated need. If you believe that your resources are not sufficient to meet the total costs of a Mary Queen of Peace education, you are encouraged to apply.
TADS
TADS provides a framework through which household need can be measured fairly and equitably. Recommendations from TADS are used by the MQP award committee in accordance with its policies to determine the award amount.
Application Information
Applications for tuition assistance may be completed online by visiting TADS at mytads.com. If you would like a paper application, you may request one directly from TADS. The $34.00 processing fee is made payable to TADS and is required for your application to be processed. The priority deadline to apply for financial aid is April 30. Applications are accepted after that date but aid cannot be guaranteed for applications made after that date.

$1,000 Scholarships to Help Pay for Tuition
The Aim Higher Foundation provides additional scholarships to children whose families are looking for tuition assistance to send their child to a Catholic school in the great Twin Cities metro area. Children attending grades K through 8th grade are eligible to receive $1,000 each. There is no limit to the number of children who receive a scholarship per family.
Once awarded, the Aim Higher Scholarship follows students through 8th grade and to other Catholic schools. In other words, if your child receives a scholarship in kindergarten, he or she will continue to receive $1,000 each year through 8th grade—a possible total of $9,000 in nine years.
Be sure to watch for important dates for the Aim Higher Scholarship Applications for the 2023-2024 school year:
- Apply now through TADS for the 2026-2027 Aim Higher Foundation and Catholic Services Appeal awards scholarships of $1000. Application is open until February 27, 2026 and awards are made in March 2027.

How to apply:
When you complete your TADS Financial Aid Application for Mary Queen of Peace Catholic School, you’re half way to apply to the Aim Higher Foundation Scholarship! Aim Higher uses the same application as our school so you only need to complete one application for both our school and Aim Higher.
Near the end of your application, when you see the Aim Higher Foundation information, simply enter your child’s name and complete the additional questions requested.

Special Tax Information:
If you choose to apply for the Aim Higher Scholarship and you do not have your 2024 end of year tax documentation ready by the February 22nd deadline, the Aim Higher Foundation will accept your 2023 information.
