“The miracle is not that we do this work, but that we are happy to do it.” – Mother Teresa
As a Catholic school, it is our goal to prepare our students to be successful in all areas of their lives. In addition to rigorous academics, we seek to give our students the skills they need to understand and live their faith. Providing our students with the opportunity to serve others is one concrete way we give our students the opportunity to learn what it means to live their faith in daily life. Christians are charged with the commission of Christ to bring his message to others by Christ when he says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:16-20.
Service to others is a very concrete response to the great commission of Christ in the Gospel of Matthew.
