I have been a preschool teacher at Mary Queen of Peace since 2019. I graduated from the University of Dallas in 2011 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a teaching license from Early Childhood through 6th grade. While I love elementary school, I have a special passion for our littlest learners and have found my home in the preschool classroom.
I have worked in early childhood in one capacity or another for over a decade. Fun fact – my first class of preschoolers are now driving! I absolutely love to share the first experience of school with each of my young learners every year!
When I am not in the classroom, you will find me with my three boys (two who are students at MQP) and my husband either boating, camping, or crossing the border to Wisconsin to spend time on my husband’s family farms. If I am not with the boys, you can find me cuddled up with a good book and coffee in the morning or tea at night.
